    Bad day fo Davy's. Reminds me of the kind of hard and reckless selling that the "the wolf of wall st" film is based on.

    Yes. The majority of posters on here with an interest in investing would know very little about contracts of difference never mind a the guy in this story. I know there's safe guards against this happening now but I personally think this kind of behaviour turns many people of looking for somewhere other than low interest accounts for their money. Coming from one of irelands leading and supposedly respectable brokers makes it even worse.
