Used to get a pair of the hub batteries in Boots when I was using Powertaps a couple of years ago

Think the old ones were LR44s, not CR 2032s

Thanks all. Manual says #357/303 or EXP76 silver oxide (IEC-SR44) type. I've tried searching both Maplins and Argos with various bits but no success. Is the SR44 the main reference?

The preferred Powertap battery is the SR44 (silver oxide) while the LR44 is an alkaline battery (same dimensions). I believe that the lower mAh capacity of the LR version can cause problems in certain applications, but I've been using LR44s without problems - mainly because they are cheaper and easier to find. You'll need to change them more frequently.

(If you haven't already changed a set of PT batteries, watch when removing / replacing the battery carrier. Its not unknown for the copper tracks on the board where the carrier slides on to lift off and break)
