    Hey all,

    Just wondering how can I claim for tax back on rent paid? Or how do i learn weather I'm eligible to claim it back

    This was discontinued in 2010 so if you were not claiming previously you cannot claim now

    Jaysus, seems very unfair..
    So no rent relief after that date :(

    There is relief after this date ,but no new claims , so you needed to be renting in 2010 to qualify, and continuously since .

    Been discontinued completely in 2017 or 18

    No requirement for continuity, simply that a person had to have been in a qualifying tenancy at 7 December 2010. If they then went to Australia for a year and came back and rented again, they still qualify for relief.
