    Hey,

So, I'm a second year student looking for a marketing placement role for my 1st year semester of 3rd year. I am looking for 15 weeks from September.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any companies that people have self-sourced in the past or that they have dealt with and the companies helped out.

Currently I am just finding job-bridge stuff which doesn't apply to me.

Any help would be much appreciated

    :)

It be difficult to get into the jobbridge ones if you still attending lectures while on a placement. Maybe look into the volunteering organisations another option be linkedin. If your college has a careers section for students, maybe browse the list on their website.

If you don't have to attend lectures during placement look into everything possible locally, put an add in the paper, set up a career profile on recruitment websites. Maybe get in touch with a recruitment agency. Depends what type of marketing areas are you looking into?

You should see this intern-ship as a way for potentially finding a job when you finish college. Linkedin have tons for finance related companies, I imagine there is also some for marketing. Have you tried any major companies that would have in house marketing like Dunnes, Glanbia, Kerry Group, Woodies aka Grafton Group, Charities etc? Then there is always advertisin firms you should apply. You should also consider applying to companies in the UK.

You should see this as an opportunity to get a job. Use it wisely
