Is there any way of getting documents from an app?

Matcha, a word processing app, keeps closing right after opening. I have tried everything except resetting my iPod touch and reinstalling the app.

Is there any way to retrieve the documents I have created with the app?

If I delete the app and reinstall it, will I also lose all my documents?

If you connect it up to iTunes you might be able to look and see what files it's storing, that's probably the easiest way. I'm not familiar with the app so I can't help with any other advice but might also be worth contacting the developer.

In iTunes, if you browse the phones apps, there should be a panel which will show all the documents associated with an app.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately the app isn't listed in the File Sharing section so I can't see any documents.

I have been in touch with the developer and they have a solution which will be included in the next update.

In my past experience, any doc whether it is saved on the iPhone within the app or listed i iTunes, remains there if you delete and reinstall the app.

Matcha has just been updated and everything works just fine again.

Check it out. It's a great app. My favorite feature is the undo button.
