Seat Ibiza TDI advice needed!

Hi folks,

I was wondering if anyone has knowledge on mk2 seat Ibiza steering racks.

Problem with my own is t appears to be leaking oil from the rack somehow or another, a few people have looked at it and said I need a new rack

Seat Ibiza, esp 1999 models are like hens teeth now, so parts are hard enough got. Would a vw polo of same era have similar setup and work as they are available more readily.

there coming up with slightly different part numbers so I'm guessing they use some of the same parts but nott identical. The diagrams are different particularly the sub-frame mounts. You should get yours reconditioned.

I'm not read up on cars as much as use people , what models would run the steering rack as the mk2 Ibiza
