    Hi there,

I am starting Hibernia Hdip this April.

    Two questions
    1. What is the best way to approach a school about teaching practice
    Phone
    Email
    Walk in
    2. Is it too early to ask to secure a teaching practice block in a school for Provisional Hibernia tp dates of Feb 2014 and Sept 2014?

I have never taught in a school before so unsure of protocol for approaching principal.

    Thanks a lot

Apologies, thats is it too early to contact schools now about provisional teaching block dates of Feb 2015 and Sept 2015?

Walking in won't get you very far, principals don't hang around waiting for callers. Ring the school and make an appointment to talk to the principal.
