    I've read all I can find on the revenue website about the Home Renovation Incentive Scheme and I am just looking for confirmation that there's no way to claim on purchases made when doing the work yourself?

    I'd like to be proven wrong!

    Are you a VAT registered contractor and do you have a current tax clearance cert? If not, then you're out of luck ;)
