    Howdy Folks

Thinking of upgrading my frame and fork. Looking at frames in or around €1K... Anyone any suggestions? Anyone riding a Cinelli Saetta??

    Cheers!

Ok, putting that issue aside for a moment ;)

Anyone have suggestions on a frame and fork for about €1K?

    Thanks!

    Storck Scenero?
One of those crazily-priced 2013 Scott framesets if they are still around?

Saetta looks nice, but you could probably find something better for €1k

Storck is gorgeous! Thinking of buying Irish and looking at a Turas though - any thoughts?

The only thing irish about a Turas is the paint job. The bikes are actually built in China (like 99% of road bikes these days). Give Bicycle Design Centre in Kildare a shout if you want a real irish made bike.

I do appreciate they don't make their own frames... But as you say, who does... I spoke to them today and they have a line of carbon frames being built in Italy. They're an Irish outfit branding and promoting their own bikes and I wouldn't mind supporting the home team if I could. Their margin (however insignificant) adds to the local and domestic economy.

Just checked out their website... I like what they seem to be doing. They look like they're proper craftsmen, but on my budget I don't think I could afford the man hours required to build a frame from scratch.
