Filling out a lease application (first timer) and came across the requirement for a safety statement. Has anyone any guidance on this or is it simply about firearms safety, placement of signs, checking for other forest users, times etc.
Is it a detailed safety statement as you may see in construction or few pages of main headings with a to-do list below...?
    Thanks in advance.

I only thought you only need a safety statement, if you intend to exercise the licence in a commercial manner?

The question before hand is pretty much as you mentioned "firearms safety, placement of signs, checking for other forest users, times etc" your safety control measures. So if you have selected your intended use as commercial in section b, well then you need a full blown safety statement. Pretty much the same setup as you would find on any construction sites. An assessment of all potential hazards and what safety measures you will put in place to contain any potentially identified hazards, with regards to the relevant health and safety act.

If you don't intend to your use to be commercial well then don't worry about it. If your still ensure give them a ring.
