Medical Card Number question

    hi guys

    Just curious about something and I don't know if it's the right place to ask but it just out of curiosity question.

    On my medical card, the gms numbers begins with a D. I was just wondering what this means, if anything. Thanks for your help in advance :)

    Only reason i asked as other medical card numbers that i came across dont have a letter in front of them

    Mine has a G in front of the number.
