Risks of getting someone else to write your essay

Hi guys, so I am in my final year in UCD, and I have a very big essay due in 2 weeks,(worth 70%) however I am finding it very hard to write it, as I have 2 more projects due and exams are slowly approaching. I was thinking of getting/ paying someone to do my essay for me. Do you think that's bad idea? Money is not a problem, however I am scared that I might get caught. Do you know if they can catch me, any risks etc.

    Thanks

Well you're going to have to get someone that actually did the subject to write it and if they have ever written one for themselves on the same topic you're running the risk of them just copying it for your one and that will be detected by safe assign.

    How many words is it?

Unless their name is actually 'TomatoFace' I wouldn't worry about it:pac:

It's a 2000 words essay, I am thinking of getting a professional to write it and will explain all the requirements. Do you think that will be okay? I'm quite of a chicken, and try to avoid risk, but this time I really need help.

Would you not get the three of them done yourself if you started tomorrow?

You'd nearly get 2000 words done in one day, especially if it includes footnotes etc.

Its worth 70% and I am not that good at academic writing and English is my second language. I am just really worried and I want to get a good grade. I've been trying to work on it for the past 3 days, and so stressed out.

Can you talk to your lecturer and get it deferred?

Chances are you'll spend more time looking for someone and sorting them out with notes than it would take to actually write the thing.
And even then, what they give you could be total crap.

I've found you can write 2000 words in a day on nearly any topic if you cut out all distractions. What are you studying?

Write it and pay a proof reader. There are always signs for those. You're risking your degree here.

Totally agree with this. Just sit down tomorrow and hash out 500 words. Even if it's pure rubbish, you can then work off it. Also, ask your lecturer for a short extension and avail of the Writing Support Centre in UCD. https://www.ucd.ie/library/supporting_you/support_learning/librarylink/writing/

If you get caught, and there's a decent chance you will, you'll probably be thrown out of college. Do your own work.
