    My alaskan malamute skin hangs

He is 18 weeks. You can lift his skin way up off his back is this normal?

I would say that is pretty normal, especially if the dog still has a lot of growing to do, I've noticed this with GSD puppies. However, if you lift the skin and it doesn't spring back into place instantly it can mean the dog is dehydrated.
