She can apply for various permissions to remain. You can look at the inis.gov.ie website or speak to an immigration solicitor.

She doesnt even have pps number

She doesnt even have pps number

A PPS number gives no rights, in fact working with out permission is an offence for both employee and employer.

There are many permissions than can be applied for, if this is so important to ye both it will require the time and money to engage a solicitor. That solicitor will be able to advise on chance of success of each application.

But once certain criteria are met then there should be no problem.

Any idea what permission and criteria are

Stamp 4 based on defacto relationship or marriage, a green card if she fits the criteria a work permit a humanitarian leave status under section 3, if the person has a citizen child then a permission under Zambrano. There are many different applications each depending on the actual facts a good immigration solicitor can tell your other half exactly what if any are her options.

Any idea what permission and criteria are

Permission is the approval by the minister for justice for the person to reside in the country.

Criteria are the necessary items that are required to get such permission.

There is a wealth of this information on the inis website if you want a general idea. If you want specific advice based on your personal circumstances, you can speak to a solicitor.

As you have been told each application is fact specific. It requires a person who knows the law to get information from both of ye. Are ye living together, are ye married or intending to marry, any children? Where are the children? Their status? Way to many variables to go through on a forum. If it's this important a solicitor will tell you it will cost a few hundred to meet a good immigration solicitor, who will tell you exactly what you and your OH can do exactly.

Go to the Migrant Rights Centre

    www.mrci.ie/

They work on issues affecting undocumented people and domestic workers.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Depends on how long you have been together, you will need to document this relationship, photos of the two of you together taken over an extended period would help.
