Bit late, but may as well open a thread for discussion on the final day of the football league group stages.

    Division 1
    NFL Division 1 Table

    Today's Fixtures
    Kerry v Cork
    Kildare v Westmeath
    Mayo v Derry
    Tyrone v Dublin

Again, the top 4 go through to the league semi finals.
Cork and Derry are already guaranteed a top four spot so they can relax in their games. Tyrone only need a draw against Dublin to make the semi finals. Mayo/Dublin have to win their games and hope that it's by more than the other team wins by. Realistically, Kerry have to beat Cork and hope that both Dublin and Mayo lose.
At the bottom, no surprise that Westmeath have long been relegated with Kildare joining them last week meaning only pride is at stake in their game today.

    Division 2
    NFL Division 2 Table

    Today's Fixtures
    Armagh v Donegal
    Laois v Down
    Louth v Meath
    Monaghan v Galway

Donegal and Monaghan are in pole position to go up to Division 1. Both need only a draw to go up. However, if Donegal lose to Armagh, Down can go up if they beat Laois, Monaghan don't lose to Galway and Meath fail to beat Louth. This will leave both teams on equal points and Down's win over Donegal will see them go up. Meath can mathematically go up, but it will take a minor miracle for that to happen.
At the bottom, Louth are already down to Division 3. Laois will join them if they lose to Down. But if they draw with, or beat Down, then one of Armagh or Galway could be relegated.

    NFL Division 3
    NFL Division 3 Table

    Today's Fixtures
    Fermanagh v Offaly
    Roscommon v Sligo
    Wexford v Longford

Cavan completed their 100% record in the division with a win over Limerick yesterday afternoon. Roscommon are also easily promoted.
At the bottom, Offaly are down. The other spot will be decided in a winner takes all game between Wexford and Longford. The loser of this will have the ignominy of two straight relegations. Longford can afford to draw and stay up thanks to their better scoring difference.

    NFL Division 4
    NFL Division 4 table

    Today's Fixtures
    Antrim v Clare
    London v Leitrim
    Tipperary v Wicklow
    Waterford v Carlow

Tipperary are already promoted. Clare will join them if they fail to lose to Antrim. Wicklow have to beat Tipperary and hope Antrim can win at home to Clare. Leitrim can still be promoted but need a massive win over London (probably of around 30 points) combined with an Antrim win and a Wicklow draw or loss.

Enjoy whatever games you're heading to.

I saw the header and thought it was a bit early for the "Final" thread ;)

Very difficult breeze in Omagh. Tyrone have missed a few easy chances because of it.

Don't think that you can blame the wind entirely. Yes, Tyrone kicked some bad wides into the wind, in the first half. But the Philly Mc, DC and Alan Brogan did not seem to have the same problem, when they were kicking into the same wind, in the second half. Methinks it was poor execution and decision making imo. If they tried to take their points, a little closer to goal, that could have made the world of difference for them.
