Zafira not starting, taking longer every day

Hi,

My wifes 2007 Zafira began giving trouble 2 weeks ago starting. since then it has begun to take longer and longer each time. its not the battery as tested.

Read alot of egr valves and leak off pipes casuing issues but not sure. can anyone give some advice or ideas where located as I cannot find exactly ? runs fine once started

Is the zafira petrol or diesel?

what particular engine (bhp)

1.6 petrol , zafira life

I don't see the egr valve causing you hassle starting. It'll cause trouble when its running.

No harm to get a diagnostic check done on it to read what fault codes, if any are recorded.

Post the county you're in and someone here might help out

Replace the engine control module relay and fuel pump relay

Got Autel Maxi Scan , read no errors , playing with ignition it would seem to indicate issue with barrel/ switch as if I turn a certain way turns over every time.
