Can I take protein powder on a plane?

I'm currently home visiting and want to take advantage of a buy one get one free offer on Protein shakes.

But obviously I am concerned about taking large amounts of white powder on an aeroplane :P

Has anyone ever done this? And had problems?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

Can't see why it would be a problem, particularly in sealed containers and a receipt for peace of mind.

I took unmarked tubs of protein powder before loads of times, the guys in customs took it out never batted an eye lid. They'll know what it is so don't worry yourself.

Thanks for the reply, good to know it can be done!

I wasn't planning on taking it in tubs, maybe bags to free up room. I always wondered why they made protein shake tubs so big haha.

Did you take it in your carry on?

Yep, some in a shaker and the others in a clip top tubber wear tub. Not a bother in my carry on. They took one look at me an realised I was into weight lifting and left me to it.
