Bellingham Castle

    Hi, has anyone been to a wedding in Bellingham Castle since it opened in Jan 14'?

    We went to view it and it's very impressive but they don't do any food tasting so we've no idea if it's any good or not. We were told that the food will be as good as their sister hotel Cabra Castle so maybe if you've eaten at a wedding there you might let us know if that was any good?

    Hiya, Do a lot of photography at Cabra. Haven't' been over to Bellingham yet, but the food a Cabra is always of a high quality.

    Did you end up booking the bellingham in the end? If so any tips you could pass along.? I booked them for may 2016. Having my food tasteing in cabra. Its the same head chef so food should be exactly the same. Let me know. Would love to hear your experience.

    We did yeah, had the wedding in March this year, they were pretty much faultless, staff were so helpful. You won't have any bother with Bellingham accommodating your needs.

    Only tip I'd have is keep an eye on the Crowne Plaza, they were pretty useless to deal with. Loads of our guests couldn't get through to them to book (you can't book online and get the wedding rate). We had to drive the whole way up to them to complain as we couldn't get through on the phone to talk to a manager. Then on the wedding day they provide a bus service but they sent it early both times, the driver just wanted to go home to bed I guess but it was annoying.

    As a DJ, Bellingham Castle is one of my favourite venues to play in. I always keep an eye on the service and the way things are delivered and I agree with other poster it is faultless. Ciara and the team will really look after you.

    And the Irish Wolfhound......what a lovely dog!!!!
