    According to this story anyway...

I'm not altogether certain what the issue is here - if I went and put someone's phone number out of Twitter and essentially said "ring him up at all hours of the day and night and verbally abuse him" I presume I'd be banned fairly quickly too. What does giving abuse to Kenny down the phone actually achieve?

So what say you AH? Is a politician's phone number fair game if it's publicly listed, or does it cross the line from protest to harassment?

Doesn't achieve anything it's just harassment. It's like doxing someone. Even though he was stupid enough to let out his phone number and tell people to call him, that doesn't mean you can go all 4chan about it and get everyone to spam him

Office number fair enough, no different than posting the office e-mail address on here and saying "Lets all let them know what we think". Home phone then no, you cant go harassing people at their homes because you have issue with how they do their job.

I got banned from google+ for giving out the Pope's snapchat ID.

I have no proof that this happened except my own blog where I make up balls.

To be honest, I would certaintly hope the Taoiseach has better things to do with his time and phone than having to answer the sort of unhinged morons that would ring him up "to give him a piece of their mind"...

Pure harassment IMO - the office number is another matter

Ah it's not just reported there - this has been reported on before in fairness.

He has four or five phones. His personal number only gets handed out to close family and friends.

The guy claims is was a public number he got on a website and he tweeted it after Kenny said anyone could call him on his public number. If it was a public number he tweeted, Kenny is in the wrong. If it was a private number, he was wrong and earned his ban.

That must have been me DDoS'ing him with this cheap-ass windows 98 system at least I tried .

    I didn't realise I was causing a problem.
