Bit of an odd question here. I am running out of space on my iPhone so was looking at deleting a few apps/music/etc. What i'm finding strange is that my Facebook app is showing as 523 MB and my Twitter app is showing as 509 MB. Why are these so large?! Surely the app shouldn't be saving data to the phone!

Both those apps use caches to improve browsing experiences. Profile photos, photos you've viewed previously are - once viewed - are kept in the app so if you wish to review them they don't need to be downloaded again.

You can delete those app caches in settings I believe.

I thought that might be the case, but I didn't think the cache would be this big. I've never actually seen the option to delete the cache anywhere

Delete the apps and redownload them
