Pre Loaded Game is gone from 3ds

Hi, My sons 3ds had Mario Kart preloaded on the device. It has now vanished. I have gone into the eshop and see the game there but when I hit redownload I get a message Either the sd card is write protected or none is inserted. The sd card may also have been removed. Can anyone point me in the right direction please Thank…

Hi,

Check the SD card slot on the device (it's on the left on the smaller model at least) and see if the card is still there. If not, there's the problem! If you find it, the game should reappear when its re-inserted, else you'll have to pick up a cheap replacement card to redownload.
