Electric Golf Trolley Predicament

Just looking for a bit of advice with regards to something that has just come up.
I currently own a Powakaddy Sport Lithium and it has never given me any problems in the 18 months that I have it but I have been given a Motocaddy S3 as a wedding gift.
My wife to be thinks it would be rude to sell the wedding gift as I play with the lads that got me the trolley and they would notice (I must admit I do like the many features that the Motocaddy has).
    Which would you keep??
What are each of them worth?

I'm sure your wife was overjoyed with that wedding present! :D

If it was me... I would keep the S3 and use lithium battery in it. Then sell your Powakaddy with a "brand new battery".

It's difficult as obviously the motocaddy as it's unused would get you as nice bit of cash which you could use to buy something else. It's awkward though when you play with the lads who bought it. It might have been a good idea on their part to actually ask you what you would like

Sell the Powakaddy, you can't use the lithium battery on your new one as it won't fit. The golf season is just getting underway so it's a good time to sell, I have one and it's faultless.

The nice thing either way is you won't be out of pocket or anything like that. An 18 month old powacaddy lithium should still fetch decent money

Ah now c'mon to be fair if the lads didn't notice you already had a top of the range electirc trolley, I doubt very much they'll notice you're not using the new now.
Sell the new one IMO, anything else is just unnecessary hassle.

I bet you never told your wife that you had the powakaddy and kept it in the boot of the car / garage. Then when your mates asked her what would you like as a wedding gift she said something golf related as your hooked on the game and they got you the motocaddy!!!!! :D:D

The lads will know and may be offended if you sold your present so i'd sell the powakaddy, after all you have a very worthy replacement and a new battery which will last you years.

It's a bit of a mixed bag but I'm siding towards keeping the Motocaddy.
I know why the lads purchased it, they know that I love gadgets and the console of the Motocaddy has lots of distractions from my really poor golf and they just hoped that I'd enjoy it.
As for the "wife to be" not knowing about the Powakaddy......... I will admit that she has no idea how much it cost and I'd like to keep it that way:D

The reviews are good for the Motocaddy but I'll ask on Sunday at the club and get their opinion as well and try and make up my mind kinda soon..

    Thanks for all your input.

    +1

Some mates - Got you an electric trolley when you just got one 18 months ago. Sell the new one and get some decent mates :D
