Apologies if this has been asked before. What in your opinion is the best food or drink to take before, during and after a cycle? Thanks.

before: 3-5 eggs (i feel hungry an hour no matter how much porridge i eat)
during: bananas, raisins nuts and anything in the cupboard when training, a treat when mileage is anywhere over 100km mars bar or something
after: i like my pasta but anything- dinner. im recently after giving up on all this boat of protein after training, its just not needed as much as people need. as for carbs after, eat something thatll fill you, as long as its not just for satisfying your sweet tooth you'll get your good carbs.

Training with the whole regime of how nutrition brands want you to train has done nothing for me and have seen no performance gains in racing following it. bottom line; eat healthy, you'll benefit from it, dont think about nut. value too much if its healthy and fills you.

I've been trying the Clif bars, they give me serious Protein farts for two days afterwards. I've been taking Whey for more than two years without any farting, so maybe it's something else in them. Also they're really dry, so they take up some of your water.

It all depends on what you mean by "a cycle".
