Hi, Just moved over to Ireland last August and set up my own business. Does anyone know whether I should submit a tax return for Sept 13 to Mar 14 or wait until my Sept 13 and Oct 14 year is up

    All advice gratefully received

You might get more posters who are familiar with tax deadlines in the Taxation forum, under the 'Biz' category.

Cheers! Didn't see there was a taxation forum when I made my original post, so thanks again

Iff you are a sole trader, and not a company, you need to submit a tax return from when you started trading until 31 Dec 2013, before Halloween 2014.

If you're still trading though, you will need to submit preliminary tax for 2014 in October 2104.

check the taxation board, and the Revenue's website.

    Cheers!

What with the start of the tax year, was beginning to think the accountant I hired and has somehow not bothered to get back to me had dropped me in the proverbial, so thanks for that
