Hey,

I've been on the lookout for an old bike for getting in and out of town etc. I'd love to take it off your hands!

Grand, just so you know - chain snapped the other week so I'm offloading it rather than replacing it, was still running up til then. The gears still work but are pretty well worn, brakes & brake cables were replaced about a year ago. Wheels came with the bike and have had a lot of use.

I was hoping to cycle it home so if chain is snapped I'll have to pass. Cheers anyway though, I'm sure someone will take it off your hands.

You could always stick a chain on it and cycle off!

No bother if you don't want it - will drop into rothar if no takers

Hopefully someone genuine will take off you. If someone unwilling to pay 10 quid to replace a chain for 10 quid they cant need/want it that bad.. nice to offer it!!
