    This is in my opinion not a geep, it is a Soay X Cheviot, meaning it is 100% Sheep. IFJ have it totally wrong on this one.

    It can certainly occur, particularly in a lab. It would be a rare event in nature. In an age of relatively inexpensive DNA analysis it should be possible to tell all fairly quickly.
