I've a TV branded "Level", 32" LCD, model number 6332; no other identifying info whatsoever. (Gift horse that I wasn't looking in the mouth.) Anyone able to hazard a guess as to what the maker or "brand equivalent" might be for purposes of cable box remote codes?

    Hi

    That's a strange name for a tele!

Most likely made by Vestel. In which case try Thompson/Walker and the likes.

    Ta

No foolin'! Makes it near-impossible to google. (Well, that and its seemingly huge obscurity.)

Thanks! Did try each of those, no joy thus far. Any other specific names to try for "the likes"? :)

I have found a few traces of it on the web. Couple of their TVs are on Polish web sites, like this one: http://www.ceneo.pl/14522609

Couple of tantalising references to the exact same model!

Still unable to confirm the "real" manufacturer or even country of origin...

    Dear o dear. Lol.

    Try a few of these;

    Celo
    Finlux
    Digihome
    Luxor
    Blue diamond
    blaupunkt

Would that be "Black Diamond"? Can't find a code for "Blue", or for "Celo". Tried all the rest, no joy. Any more names spring to mind? :)

Can upload a photo of the set if you think that might help...

That's very strange. Best bet is maybe to scan through some of the most obscure brands on Sky interactive and keep trying.

Sorry I can't be of any more help.

No, Anders is right with Blue Diamond (not to be confused with Black Diamond, what was once a Mitsubishi name). I think Blue Diamond is a name that's used by Osmosis company as an own-brand of sorts. That, and Cello (2 L's) would be on the right track for sure.

UPC Horizon, rather than Sky. But same "exhaustive search" option would apply, failing all else.

No codes provided for "Blue Diamond" (hence my query) or for "Cello", so for now I'm stymied.

Thanks for the thoughts, all the same!
