I met a new partner a year ago, he resides in the US. I have visited him & he has visited us as well. we met through a friend.
He has invited myself & 3 years old daughter over for 3 months, we want to see if the relationship can work before our big decision. He has a decent job but I am on the one parent allowance here. I lost my part time (20 hours) 2 months ago.
My question is, if i go away for 3 months, I know I wont be paid, but WILL my claim be closed? Will i have to apply freshly for it upon my return?
my rent is also RAS, what happens to that within the 3 months I am away for ? 12 weeks...I have no problem paying the rent whilst I am away.
Just need to know if my one parent family claim will be closed and I will need re application for it.
