    Folks,

(posted this to my log but throwing it here for more eyeballs if that's ok mods)

I’ve been looking to schedule/find a lunchtime strength/core/pilates class designed for runners, in the Dublin City centre area.

I’ve asked the guys at Functional Training on Fitzwilliam St. They don’t run one right now but we could start up a class if we got a couple of bodies to make it viable. The time slots available are Tuesday 2pm or Thursday 12,1 or 2. I think you’d need to pay for a minimum of 4 or so classes from the outset, but the overall cost would be cheaper the more people in the class. It can be run with just 3 or 4 bodies. The instructor is a former runner at international level so he knows his stuff. If anyone’s interested drop me a PM?

    Thanks

Pearse Street Physio do a Pilates class specifically for runners on Wednesday mornings at 7.30 a.m. which is supposed to be very good.

I think it is … well, I mean it's open to everyone, but I'm not sure if they need to assess you first or not. I was seeing a physio there and was advised to do a class or two before being discharged, but I've just kept it up.

You can book just by ringing up. Here's their site:

By the way the more classes you book at a time the cheaper it works out per class.
