Folks - I'm looking at selling my car (07 Mazda 6 if any interest !!) privately, however I have moved house recently and cant find the log book.

Do I need this to sell & if so, how do I get a replacement ?

You can get a replacement but it will be posted to your old house address that is still on Shannon's system.

You can download a copy of the vehicle license cert replacement form that is available online, you get the Gardaí to stamp it and then go to your local motor tax office with along with €12. A new vehicle license cert will then be sent out to the address you last had on it.

Yeah, I think you will need the log book if you want to sell the car...
Follow the advice above, or call Shannon to post another one out. Think there is a fee for this.

They wont post replacement following a phone call. Form RF134 must be submitted, €12 fee and obligatory Garda stamp required. Bazz's advice is spot on.
