I doubt they are doing many offers at the moment with the Premier League run-in. Maybe wait till later in the summer?

I was on the entertainment extra pack too @ 36 euro a month. Called sky on Monday, got the sports, movies and the HD pack for an extra 36 euro for 9 months, no contract. Was offered Sky World(no HD) for 64 euro a month but really wanted the HD for the telly I have. Its always worth a try ringing sky and giving the poor mouth and see what ya can get out of them :)

Rang them there they said they could offer me 20 % off the entertainment and sports so i'd be getting both for about 57.60, still seems kind of expensive when you hear of people getting it for a lot less.. Should I ring back and try and bargain a bit more?

yup, thats the best way. Just say you cant afford it but that you'll opt instead for FTA combined with Setanta/BT Sports @ €9.99 a month.

Rang back and asked for a deal said I was thinking of cancelling, the guy I spoke to said 20% off was the best they could do,and I was getting a great deal at that, he also said that if I wanted to cancel that was fine and I would be getting no call back to reconsider. I said i'd think about what he was offering. I rang back later and got a different guy and he said he could do the entertainment basic pack and sky sports for 1/2 price for 6 months so got it for 46, so I just went with it.. Thanks for the advice guys!!
