    Hi

Im hoping someone can help and point me in the right direction.

    Here is my scenario.

Im on the job hunt like the rest of the country. I am applying for jobs left right and centre on jobsites only to be rejected.

I am a fully qualified electrician, however unfortunately due to the recession, I was made redundant. I was successful in securing employment quite quickly after my redundancy, which was fantastic, however, 7 years later, I am desperate to move on.

Along with my trade, I have completed ECDL, have customer service experience and a very small amount of retail experience from when I was in my school years.

I have applied for countless jobs, as I realise the construction industry is dead in the water. I seem to be limited to customer service jobs, however, I either receive an email explaining I do not meet requirements or I dont hear back at all.

I suppose I need to hear from someone who was in the same situation as me and successfully secured a job.

    Thanks.
