Flavourless ready to use e liquid?

Got some great help here last week - so I have another question please! Im new to this and after reading a bit Id like to try the flavourless e liquid (less additives), but Im confused as it seems people are talking about mixing bases etc... Where could I get a ready to use flavourless e liquid, preferably eu made and good price?

Im sure some of the irish vendors would be more than happy to sell you some flavourless juice if you e-mailed them,Though mixing would be the way to go.

Get a bottle of pg and some vg and thats it (with nictoine in it of course).

But what do you do - just half fill the cartomizer with PG and the other half with VG?

Pretty much, get yourself a syringe or something to pick up the liquid and an empty e-liquid bottle and just fill that up.

Half and half will give you whats called a 50/50 mix which are the numbers you sometimes see being thrown around during discussions.

You can alter this, vg gives more vapour where as pg gives more flavour.If you're using cartos maybe stick with a 50/50 upto about a 70 (vg)/30 (pg) mix because some vg is really think and wont seep into the carto too well.

Thanks for the help. Holy God Ive just received some flavours Id already ordered one of which was Evo - Timber flavour - has to be the most disgusting taste ever:eek:

some juices benefit from getting some air in a cool dark place (away from other strong sents)

Just take top and dripper top off and leave it for couple of days, then put tops back on give a good shake and taste , if still no good leave it for a few weeks, some juices can change quite a bit over time.

Some juice is just rotten no matter what you do, you could try diluting it with your home made flavorless juice, if you want to keep the bought juice at the same nicotine strenght, then make some home made juice at the same strenght.

you could also increase or lower the nicotine strenght by making the home made stuff higher or lower i.e if your shop bought juice is 50 ml with nicotine strenght of 24mg, and you mix it with 50ml home made with nicotine strenght of 0 mg , you get 100ml with nicotine strenght of 12mg

To make your own flavorless juice you need 3 liquids.

PG, more pg = more increased flavor (when flavors are added) more PG also means more throat hit, 100ML bottle can be got for between 2-4 euro

VG, more vg = more vapor, Vg has a slightly sweet flavor when no other flavors are added, VG can be very thick liquid again 100ml bottle ranges 2-4 euro

NICOTINE BASE, the important one, and the one one you need to be careful with, nicotine comes mixed with pg or vg or a combination of both

it can be bought in different strenghts from 36mg/ml 50mg/ml 72mg/ml 100mg/ml you can get higher nic strenght but i wouldnt recommend it for safety reasons

The easiest strenght to work with is 100mg/ml , just because its a nice even number that makes calculations easy , i.e if you want to make 10ml of juice at nicotine strenght of 18mg/ml, then 1.8ml (one point eight mill) of nicotine added to 8.2ml of pg/vg = 10ml juice @ 18mg/ml

If you want 10ml of juice at 12mg strenght then you simply add 1.2ml nicotine to 8.8ml pg/vg and so on,

That method is scaleable i.e you want 30ml of juice @ 18mg/ml then 1.8 * 3 =5.4 ml of nicotine added to 24.6ml pg/vg.

100ML of nicotine at 100mg/ml strenght will set you back around 25euro, but if mixing at 12mg/ml that bottle is enough for 800ml of juice @ 12mg/ml , so if you bought that bottle of nicotine 25euro and 7 100ml bottles pg/vg average 3euro/bottle = 21euro , you have 800ml juice @ 12mg/ml costing 46euro,

It is best to only mix small batches at a time though,

And you can probably just buy plain juice mixed at required strenght , this will cost you a lot more in long run though.

so to recap, to make your own you need , PG, VG, and NICOTINE base , some empty bottles, some syringes , some liquid proof gloves

Additional handy items, a dripper or pippettes and remember exercise caution when dealing with nicotine, and EXTREME caution when dealing with nicotine above 50mg/ml , clean up any spills straight away, wash off any that gets on you, and keep away from kids and pets, and ENJOY

Not a lot of faffing really once you know what you need and how, its not for everyone granted, just wanted to put the info there in one place for op.

Mixing at home may become a must in the future with rising prices and smaller bottles

Dragging this up again as I started a similar topic on the facebook page but it gets knocked down the page so quick it's hard to keep track of it .

I was asking there just how unflavoured it is , as in is there any taste at all off it ?
Does the brand matter and if so what would you recommend ?
If you have bought it ( ready to vape ) where did you buy it ?

When I started with flavourless I got the 'Ready to Vape' at 18mg from ESI:

I bought that at 100 PG and then diluted it with pure vg to about 12mg nic I think it was. The 'Ready to Vape' actually comes in 50/50 though so i'd recommend getting that to see if you like it. Not too dear to try it at €13 for 100ml.

If you do like it, going forward its obviously more cost effective to get the 50mg base in pg or vg and then dilute it with pure pg or vg into some big (100ml) bottles.

It does have a taste be it vg heavy or pg heavy. Hard to describe to be honest. Its sweet but clean tasting. Give it a go.

Its also handy to have it around as.I find that some flavours are just way too intense but can then be lovely if added to, say, 10ml of flavourless in 8- 10 drops (e.g. Frankenvape).

I went into the ecigshop and Viktors mixed me up 100ml 50/50 6mg there and then , trying it now , does seem a little sweet and I am finding it heavy ( not sure how to describe it ) when inhaling , might try a bit more PG the next time .
