ESB meter, inside or outside, whch is best?

    Doing some house refurbishment and we have the choice to either leave the meter indoors, or to have it moved onto an outside wall. What are the pro's and con's of each? maybe best to leave it where it is.

    There's usually cost implications
    Both from Esbn and you're electrical contractor /builder
    Best outside though

    If there is a reconnection involved, will the esb look for an outside meter
