EU Traineeships

    Hey,

    Anyone here do a EU traineeship or know anything about it? Looking for a bit of advice. I'm considering applying to the traineeship programme in EU institutions particularly the Parliament, Commission, Council and ESEC and to the EU agencies EUISS and EMCDDA.

    However, what has stopped me applying is the language element (or lack thereof). Whilst, I did honours French for my Leaving Cert, I didn't get a good grade and did pass Irish which I did get a good grad but it was only ordinarily level.

    Would this language deficit really hinder me in securing a traineeship? or would it be possible to re-learn French?

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)
