Hi, I've recently moved to Charlestown in Finglas, just wondering if anyone could give me recommendations for a school for my two daughters. They are due to start junior infants next September and September 2016.

Are you driving - St. Canice's Girls School is in Finglas Village and a bit down the road is Mother of Devine Grace, again further down is St. Brigids National School. I'm not sure what Catchment Area (if this still exists) you are in. But all the primary schools in Finglas are great - waiting lists may apply to some schools (again not sure if they can still have waiting lists)

Thanks deelite, yes I drive, I've been to st Brigid's but they hinted that there wasn't s hope of getting in for next September (I guess they can't refuse for definate but felt she was taking my details just to be polite).
I've put the names down in St Canices too, they seemed a bit more positive that we may get a place. I've no experience of an all girls school but I guess it's fine for Primary anyway.

St Cancies Girls is a lovely primary school.

There's St. Joseph's on Barry Ave., and there's one in Ballymun a short drive from Charlestown too that you should look into, not sure of the name.
