Not sure if it helps - but I have the tight fitting Ulster jersey (which isn't Adidas so this may be useless). I'm 6'4" and XS is long enough on me. Length isn't really an issue.

I'm not sure if there's much difference in the length between sizes - more arm / waist / shoulders.

Ok thanks, think ill go with small iv pretty long arms though. Iv worn medium munster and its quite big so small is probably the best bet.

I have the latest lions top myself. I am 6,4 and its size m... good fit. Now, there's always a number of tops to select from... unofficial game one, supporters one etc... I forget off hand what mine is but can check.

The ulster tops are HUGE fitting, this year anyway. Don't compare any tops to them for sizing haha.

I agree with your reference to lengths

I would personally order two or so sizes and return the rest when buying online. Its often free returns now.

Clothing and shoe sizes are up the left... from a small ulster top to XL jumpers.

My feet are measured as size 14 yet ive decathlon trainers at 11 & a 1/2 up to size 14 shoes... bought shoes from ASOS and they're size 13, with ASOS casual trainers fitting me at size 12. Nightmare

I think ill chance small as munsters is adidas too and medium was pretty big on me so small should do fine.

With the test jerseys it's basically impossible to know without trying it on. I don't even think the size guides help.

Even some sites say "we recommend you order a size larger than usual" - is that because they think fans typically have beer guts, or they think that fans will want their jersey to fit loose, or do you actually need a size larger?

XS fits me in the Ulster one but it's not the easiest to get in to. The test material doesn't stretch at all. If it were half an inch tighter I wouldn't get in to it. :D

    Where are you buying from?

I have the Lions test jersey.

It is extremely tight (for the chest measurement given). There is zero give and there is a tighter band of material where your sternum is.

It's an absolutely hoor to get off too.

I'd go two sizes up from your regular replica size.

An XL Adidas formotion jersey is abt the same size as a medium Climacool around the torso, but longer . Formotion = players version, Climacool = supporters version. An XL Formotion is also a size 10 in Adidas speak :-)

Is this thread a thinly veiled excuse to proclaim what beasts we all are?

Ah yeah, he's tall. But he'd be knocked over by a mild breeze.
