There's a run every Thursday evening from the regional sports centre on the Cork road with hundreds participating which would be a good place to start.

Plenty of social cycling clubs, a dodgeball meet every week, running groups, tag rugby running at the minute. Plenty of options around. If any of those take your fancy just ask

Dodgeball is on tonight at 7-9pm and every wednesday. Play for free on your first night.

    Male and female players.

De la salle college, feel free to come along

The same group runs on a Tuesday too, at 7.00pm from RSC. Casual 6/7 mile run. Thursday run is at the same time, and is usually 5 miles or so. It's a big group, and caters for all levels.

There is a speed session on Monday at 7.30, in RSC, for beginners/improvers. €3 for non members.

Plus, there is a large group training for the Waterford Viking Marathon (plus, half mara and quarter mara), they meet at 9.00 at the Supervalu (formely Superquinn) carpark, on a Sunday morning. You might be interested in this link too http://www.waterfordvikingmarathon.com/
