i have insurance 3 months on my car and now i have a crack in my windscreen

    can I get it fixed with my insurance I have windscreen cover or is their a period of time before I can claim?

    Hi bargain hunt,
    If you have windscreen cover on your policy, a claim won’t affect your policy, price or no claims discount. If you don’t have windscreen cover and you claim for a windscreen repair or replacement, this will be treated the same as any other claim, so your no claims discount may be impacted as well as your renewal price. You would also have to pay an excess if you make a windscreen claim if you don’t have windscreen cover.
