hot asphalt over concrete tiles

    Have other related query on boards re roof this is aa question diy - might know rather than tech spec - mods-

    Does anyone know or is aware of someone using hot asphalt on roof tiles - concrete- to seal an leak?

    Not bothered about how it looks as its at back of house - just if anyone tried it and your view - good or bad would be appreciated-

    Even your low pitch roof may be too much of an angle for asphalt.

    Remove the tiles, sheet it.

    Thank you. I have two velux windows in the middle of the mess! min pitch for velux is 15 degrees roof pitch 10 or 11 degrees -joke.

    Could you tell me more about what you mean by "sheet it" thks Paddy

    but your velux windows may have be refitted also.

    I don't think Asphalt would be suitable for this (it would "creep" in hot weather) and would probably be next to impossible to apply anyway. You might consider this roofing (referred to above)
