    Anyone have a recommendation of a decent dermatologist, the cheaper the better and the closer to the South Circular Rd the better.

    I don't think cheap and dermatology go in the same sentence, it's a speciality field of medicine and seeing a consultant without a medical card or private insurance is going to set you back somewhere around €150-200 for an initial consultation.

    I went to Alan Irivine in St. James' a few years back and found him excellent, very professional and doesn't beat around the bush about telling you what's what and how he's going to solve it. His contact details are here

    Generally you need to be referred to a consultant dermatologist by a GP. So your best bet would be to see your GP first.

    As stated above, see your GP and ask for a referral, you can then choose to go on the public waiting list or be seen privately by a dermatologist.
