    Hi all
I'm looking for some advice as I'm about to start painting the outside of the house.
There is some cracking in the plaster and I am wondering what's the best way to fill them before painting
The cracks are mainly small but there are many of them
House was never painted before and is 7 years built

    Thanks

Be sure to use a fungaside prior to painting.

Geocel Painters Mate Flexible Acrylic Filler.
White, flexible acrylic filler for use on most materials. Paintable within 1 hour. Contains fungicide. For internal or external use.
Available from most hardware stores. or you can use an equivalent of this brand.
A good quality brand of caulk will last for years. Make sure the surface is clean and clear before applying.
Also when applying your first coat of paint I recommend a 50/50 paint/water mix, then when it has dried, a regular coat to ensure a even, smooth, and professional look.
Remember, cheap paint may seem like a good investment but will cost more in the long run. A brand name such as dulux is much better quality.
    Hope this helps.

The walls of my bedroom are very damp in the monsoons , and hence I am opting for tiles on the walls as I am fed up of the humidity in my room at nights
