Hi, I'm am currently doing a project on a garage conversion.. I am installing insulated plasterboards to the walls and there is one wall that is connected to the main dwelling in the garage.. The main dwelling wall has 50mm fibreglass insulation between timber battens and I want to fix 90mm insulated plasterboard slab to the the other side of the block wall..
Will this cause any problems with regard to vapour control.. Any help would be great help.

My garage is (kinda) like that - and I do find the garage does need a vent. If I park the car or bike in there, wet, the humidity from the hot wet vehicle has nowhere to go.

I haven't gotten around to it, mind, but it does need one ! Possibly even one with a small fan on it - but not down too low.

I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Ah ye I have a ventilation system, the problem I'm afraid of is:
if there is heat circulating the main dwelling and it's off in the converted garage will that cause vapour in the block wall between the garage and the main dwelling..
