    Coconut

Having had to bring my smartphone into the phone repair shop I was forced into using my old samsung coconut.

    - It flips which as we all know is cool.
    - It's lighter and smaller than any smartphone I've had.
    - I still haven't had to charge it even after 4 days of use.
    - The alarm off it is so loud it'll wake the neighbours.
    - It's got sudoku.

    All hail the coconut. :)

It can't monitor your sleep patterns.
    What's the point?

I still use an old Nokia most of the time. I have a Galaxy smart phone but 99% of my phone use is just calls and texts, and the old one is tiny and handy.

Love the old Nokia, never dies on me.

Would not be able to downgrade to a dumbphone myself. They serve their purpose but without any ability to access internet, emails, certain applications, etc. It would just annoy me.

I've never seen so many pointless threads in AH in a long time...

If your job is on the move, I can see why. I like being able to leave it all behind though, it's too tempting to check things too frequently. I don't need to read emails every 15 minutes.

It's when you're in a restaurant/pub or whatever that you need to just keep it in back pocket really. People rely on their phones way too much as a comfort mechanism.

The RAZR is still an awesome phone in terms of looks.

Never had a flip phone, just went from tiny screen with buttons to early smartphone with the touch screen sensitivity of a LUAS ticket machine, to a modern Samsung one.

From watching Breaking Bad though, it made feel like I missed out on the coolness.

I've a forty euro nokia, I've had it for the past three years or so. Did briefly switch to a Samsung Galaxy but after a few days I got pissed off with it and switched back. This one texts, calls, lets me on facebook and to check emails, fm radio, sudoku. I can live with only checking twitter and news-sites etc during the 6-8 hours a day I'm in front of a computer if it means I only have to charge the thing a couple times a week and not worry about it breaking if someone looks at it funny.

Is your coconut an Android phone? Do Android have an OS called "Lime"?

Because if so I have a hilarious joke ready to go. You'll pish yourselves laughing. Oh just you wait.
