San Remo Hotel, San Francisco

Hi guys, Has anyone stayed in this hotel (San Remo, San Francisco). I will be arriving there late at 23.00. The hotel wrote back to say that I will need to call the clerk but that he may be sleeping. This response did not inspire much confidence but just wondering if anyone stayed here and what there experience was? Thanks

some friends stayed there a few months ago when we couldn't put them up. They loved it - said the staff were great.

Just follow the instructions. They're a hotel and used to this sort of thing happening. Even if the guy is off duty, he's probably "on-call" so will be around if needed.
