This might seem like a strange one .. but does anyone know of an electrical or hardware shop that has closed down in the last few weeks (no more than 28 days ago)?
I've a niece doing a psychology doctorate on impacts of the recession and she needs to interview business owners in different sectors. She's had small shop owners and restaurants but needs something in the electrical / hardware area.
I suggested Boards.ie as someone always knows someone on boards.ie.
    Thanks guys!

Not really a home appliance issue, but perhaps she should try the Stubbs gazette, they list all the businesses that have ceased trading.
