I have a GE Security Simon XT wireless panel provided by Phone watch.

I have a vision impairment, and I cant read the panel., so if I could navigate the system by entering codes that would be grate.

I will give you an example of what I mean.

Press a key to enter the menu system,.
Then press 8 followed by 1 on the panel. This would indicate that I want to enter top level menu item 8 which is System tests “ and the sub menu item 1 which is “Sensor test”.

This would mean that I could access the system very quickly.

It would also be useful for the installers to program the system. As you would not have to navigate the menu structure, with just a few code presses you could program the system.

Perhaps I could do this by adding the ethernet option to the system. see related post

The only way I am aware of is to navigate through the menus.
