    Risk and Credit Analyst (VP)

    Our client, a leading global financial services company are seeking a Risk & Control analyst at VP level.

    Role & Responsibilities

    The organisations Transaction Services Division arranges short, medium and long-term structured financing and provides export financing advice to clients globally. The advice relates to clients in developed and emerging market countries who are engaged in global trade, capital projects and investments

    This individual will act as a team member with responsibility to oversee and pro-actively manage the organisations European Portfolio from a credit and risk perspective. This is a multi-billion dollar portfolio with Agencies and Obligors based around the world in multiple industries. The individual will be located in Dublin. Candidates should have significant prior experience of Credit, Risk and Portfolio Management and be familiar with both capital and bank markets transactions. VP level candidate with experience of managing a loan portfolio, with a solid grounding in credit and risk is desired.

    The individual selected will retain primary responsibility for management of the entire portfolio. The portfolio is complex in nature and comprises both clean and export credit agency-backed assets. The individual will need to attain a deep understanding of the portfolio composition in order to conduct credit reviews and to create a portfolio model that will provide comprehensive portfolio data (pricing, maturity etc) and which will comprise a vital business tool for portfolio maximisation.

    Specific responsibilities will also include:

    Responsibility for reporting any adverse credit related issues to management.
    Handling all waivers, amendments and restructurings and working with legal counsel on the same.
    Responsibility for identifying assets for potential acquisition/sale.
    Maintaining all relevant loan documentation.
    Managing regulatory capital limits set by management.
    Ensuring all corporate governance
    Managing internal analysis of portfolio.
    Qualifications

    Knowledge/Experience:

    Portfolio Management
    Loan Credit Assessments and Reviews
    3-5 years prior experience in an independent risk management function essential
    Experience working with complex portfolios in multiple jurisdictions and industries
    Corporate Finance experience relevant
    Transaction execution
    Skills:

    Excellent Credit & Risk management experience
    Ability to lead change, develop new processes
    Excellent communication and written skills
    Superior analytical skills
    Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation
    Ability to take a concept through to execution
    Qualifications:

    Strong first degree
    Credit/Risk qualifications
    Superior organisational skills.
    Good people skills. Able to motivate/influence.
    Ability to operate in a complex matrix
