Complaints against serving full-time Members of An Garda Síochána:

Who would one speak with now with complaints against serving members? I have a complaint to make and not entirely sure now who to actually send my complaint to
    ~ Department of Justice
    ~ Ombudsman Office

Who, after everything that has surfaced to date, Who is best to deal with complaints now?

    Thanking You,
    kerry4sam

You should complain to the local Supt in the first instance. Then you'll have an earlier paper trail. If you submit it to the Ombudsman first, it will be referred back to the local Supt anyway for a report.

Yeah I've sent out feelers tonight seeking info and if I'm not content with those results, then I'll contact the Ombudsman.

Someone else did tell me to contact the relevant local station next, but personal experience is telling me to avoid at all costs! Full-time Colleague-support above everything so perhaps Ombudsman next.

    Thanks for your replies,

Surely you should know all that, were you not in the Garda Reserve?

what is the details of the complaint? Is it a mickey mouse ...issue ?
If you submit a letter to the local district officer outlining your complaint and you will find that action will be taken. Two sides to every story of course.
    was there any witnesses ...cctv....etc.
