11 speed on 10 speed wheels!

    lads and ladies..ive 10 speed shimano wheels but im getting new 11 speed ultegra,are these compatable or do i need new free hub??

    It depends on the wheels. Check the specs of the wheels online as some wheels need only a new freehub but some simply can't take an 11speed freehub at all so can't be upgraded.

    If they are Hope hubs you need a new rear hub. Apparently FFWD and other makes supply a freehub body. If they are shimano wheels, you need a new rear wheel as they are only pushing the 11 on new equipment. This is as much as I have been able to glean so far. Why not wait for the new 13 speed:)
